The client requires active alarms to be temporarily removed from the Alarm Console(Iqvision4.15) and it should reappear after a few minutes if the fault condition still exists.
So they don’t want to see the alarms until they’re escalated?

Ex-When a fire alarm becomes active, it should appear in the Niagara Alarm Console. The operator should be able to temporarily clear/remove the alarm from the console. If the fire alarm condition remains active after a predefined delay, for example 5 minutes, the alarm should automatically reappear as a new active alarm.
If someone ack’s the alarm but the point is still active it will still be in the console…not temporary cleared…thus not meeting the client’s desires. In order for it to not appear after being temporarily cleared you’d likely need to change the point state. You could do something like using a latch that needs to be reset and then after the time delay it fires again, bringing the point back to the console. It isn’t something standard, but some trial and error should come up with something
