AX Community Logic Blocks: What Do You Rely On Most?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get your input on something. As far as I know, the AX community modules are not actively maintained by anyone right now. However, as we move forward to version 4.14 and beyond, we might lose functionality of AX Community if Tridium makes any breaking changes.

:warning: We are aware that the axCommunity modules are actively being signed by others and distributed for use. However, I’m talking about maintaining the codebase.

I’m curious to know which logic blocks from the AX Community are most used and indispensable for you?

We are considering the idea of taking the most popular and essential logic blocks and porting them to the ddctCommunity module so they can be actively maintained and available into the future.

Any thoughts or suggestions on this?

Being “The New Guy” I don’t really have anything constructive to say, just that this is brilliant and leads me to believe this site will be fruitful far into the future. I’m in awe.

Build it and they will come! I’m not sure its works like that these days… nevertheless, we will build it, and hope that they come! :sweat_smile:

This is exactly why I ported over a number of ax community components into my own Jar module. There are some helpful components that would be good to maintain going forward.

100%! We have thought about including the best of ax community in our module. I’d like to reach out to the creators though to make sure that’s ok :ok_hand:
