I have a site with multiple Jaces. Sometimes found that when building has power outage some Jace lost communication when power is back. But after reboot Jace, the jace is back online. Does Jace only request once IPV6 address when powerup? Or does DHCP server need power up before Jace powerup?
The DHCP server will certainly need to be up before the client. I always was taught to used static for this reason. Almost all modern Router can assign a range that will be governed by DHCP where outside of that range is Reserved for Static IP.
