I am facing some issue with history reception over Trend network.
An IQVision supervisor is connected to 32 no. of IQ4E controllers over trend network.
Suddenly, the supervisor is unable to receive any history from all 32 controllers. But it is still communicating for point values and VCNC communication is ‘Connected’.
When I try to discover history or even new points, it throws discovery fault response.
Please help me resolve this. The last option would be to restart the server.
This might be something as simple as a clash of outstation addresses.
The vision is using terse text (I think) to obtain its data so it can appear to retrieve data even when you cant seem to build a lan in the Nav tree or something like a program like SET.
If you also have points in the vision that are proxied to the wrong point type or non existant points then this will hamper the comms from the Vsion to the outstations and make px page data slow to load or when you view a pointview page it can take a while to get the data back.
Have a look at the output in the application manager screen, this might point you in a better direction, try posting a screenshot here.
