Jace 9000 Ethernet ports - Secondary not working

I searched the content of this site so hopefully no one has asked this question.

We have a Jace 9000 where we are using the primary ethernet port for the customers internal network and we are using the secondary port to access the Jace with a remote device. We can log into the Jace on the primary, plugged directly into it, and “see” the secondary port from the remote software client page but cannot connect remotely. I have read a blog online about the ports share a gateway and the first port to use it, will block the other ports gateway.

Is there a fix to this where we can have two gateways used at the same time or has anyone else figured out a work around for this?

Thanks all!!

The short answer is no. It only takes one of them. I think it was a mistake to have them show both. It will only take one, whichever gets there first.

Thanks, Charles for the response

Much appreciated. I
